The water is tapped directly from vacuum-sealed 10 litre or 15 litre plastic bags packed inside cardboard
boxes. The complete water box is chilled inside the unit. This system offers both you and your customers
a whole array of crucial advantages:
- The water boxes are one-way products: the empty containers are directly recycled by your customers.
- Picking up of empties, as well as maintenance and cleaning work, is no longer necessary.
- The water boxes can be stored inside the unit to save space - and in the aqueduct PRO they are pre-chilled too.
- The water boxes are quick and easy to replace.

Glencar Water, pure Irish mountain water
The Glencar Irish mountain water inside our boxes is hygienically packaged into a sealed bag which collapses as you drink from it, meaning the water never comes into contact with light, air, or the dispenser, ensuring its freshness and purity from the source to your glass. Our promise it to provide only the purest mountain water from the towering mountains of Glencar in the remote and pristine west of Ireland, direct to our Irish designed water dispenser.
The handy boxes are much easier to load than awkward bottles, and once placed into an Aqueduct dispenser, the water is poured from an integrated tap that"s been proven to be vastly more hygienic than bottled-water coolers because it does away with their stagnant valves and reservoirs.
Its fully recyclable bag-in-box design means considerably fewer "environmental food miles" - a single plant using one-way delivery can service cities in a country without having to pick up the empties, and the space-efficient way the boxes stack also means there are fewer outbound journeys too.
The problem faced by many Vending, POU and B2B Service companies is that whilst they recognise that their customers utilise Bottled water Coolers the innate logistical nightmare of the returnable bottle makes this business model totally unattractive to incorporate into the truly "one way delivery" Vending business model.
- POU is being used in some cases where a water supply is adjacent, but many sites are either too hard or not worth plumbing so bottle water coolers are left in situ.
- But these low volume accounts are expensive to service as the cost of delivering 2-3 bottles is high when compared to income.
- Poor regional density problems can often involve significant underutilisation of resources... and often route density analysis can show that some parts of a given country or region cannot be serviced profitably by a returnable bottle system.
- This problem faced by low profitability on small delivery sizes is compounded by the requirement to sanitise every 13 weeks... a substantial cost which may or may not be directly invoiced to the customer… but does impact on their overall annual spend and hence profitability.
Bag in Box solves all the above problems... allowing companies to regain profitability on low volume accounts (as delivery size can be increased as 3-4 boxes can be stored within the machine and another 4-8 neatly in an office or home cupboard).
