Why mains water coolers?
Bottled water coolers have fast become the norm in many businesses over the last 15 years, but now you can have a plumbed-in water cooler which provides unlimited, quality drinking water at a fixed low cost all the year round. What's more, you never run out of water, you don't have expensive invoices, there's no heavy lifting or bottle storage, and it is better for the environment too!
What is required for a plumbed-in water cooler?
All you need is a mains water supply and a 13 amp socket. We can install plumbed in coolers up to 15 meters away from the water supply. If you are unsure, just call our customer service helpline to arrange a free, no obligation site survey.
Call: 1800 327 6878.
How involved is the installation?
Plumbed-in water coolers are generally quick and easy to install. Installation usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.
To connect to the water supply we use a 'T' connection compression fitting, then fit a Water Block anti-leak device and a pressure reduction valve for any pressure spikes in your mains water supply.
From here we use either 3/8 or 1/4 inch polypropylene food grade tubing to the water cooler. Any tubing that is visible is enclosed in white 16mm hard plastic conduit trunking for neatness and protection.
Which water cooler should I choose?
We offer a fantastic selection of water coolers for businesses and organisations, large and small.
To start with you need to know how many people will be using the cooler/s. The capacities vary with different manufacturers and models, so it's worth looking at the cooler outputs.
Do you want something extra?
We can offer you a water cooler with an additional filtration options, such as for limescale, fluoride and UV filtration options.
We can also offer sparkling water coolers, as well as hot and cold water dispensers that save your staff time because you don't have to wait for the kettle to boil.
If you have a large number of people using hot water for tea or coffer, why not have a plumbed in water boiler. We offer ant extensive range from both Marco & Zip.

How often is the water cooler serviced?
We visit your premises every 6 months to santitise your water cooler, internally and externally and change the water filter.
All our service personnel are EPDWA (European Point-of-Use Drinking Water Association) trained in servicing and sanitising mains water coolers. We use the industry standard CoolerClean Hydrogen Peroxide sanitising solution on all of our cooler to provide the highest levels of hygiene.
Why are mains water coolers better for the environment?
Plumbed-in water coolers are a much better option for the environment compared to bottle coolers. They provide unlimited, great tasting chilled water at a fraction of the cost of bottled coolers, and only require two service visits annually. Bottled coolers require water deliveries usually every fortnight, which require a delivery vehicle to call at your premises to make a delivery of a product that you already have on site - water!
What happens to the old water coolers?
The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive is new European legislaton that requires that all electrical equipment is recycled as much as possible at the end of the equipment's productive life.
We are now required to have a licensed contractor collect and dispose of water coolers ensuring about 80% of the unit is recycled. This is to ensure that the practice of disposing of equipment in landfill sites is kept to a minimum.
Why should I choose Advanced Water Coolers Ltd?
We can offer you the latest and most modern water coolers with unbeatable customer service. Our own engineers service all of our systems on a nationwide basis and we do not use sub-contractors to install or service. We only sub contract major plumbing preparation on long installations prior to our installation work for customers where required.
All staff are EPDWA (European Point-of-use Drinking Water Association) trained in the installation, servicing and sanitising of mains connected water dispensers.
And last but certainly not least we are Investors in People accredited to ensure that the Customer Service Team and our Service Engineers are looked after and properly trained in every aspect of their job. We have an excellent team and naturally we want to look after them.
Why is it best to rent a plumbed-in water cooler?
Most customers rent their coolers - 96% in fact - because of our all inclusive service package. Every 6 months we call at your premises to change the filters, clean the cooler externally with an anti-bacterial spray, we then use Cooler Clean solution to sanitise the inside of the cooler and any water contact surfaces.
Each visit is recorded on your water cooler service docket and any faults, call outs and part replacements are also covered. If we can't fix it there and then we will give your an exchange cooler so that you aren't left without chilled drinking water for staff or customers. However the minimum rental contract period is for 36 months.
If you purchase the cooler you have parts and labour covered for the first 12 months, after this time any call outs are chargeable, plus spare parts. The first service call in 6 months is also provided free when a system is purchased.
We can offer an annual service package with two service and sanitisation visits. The cost of this service varies depending on the type of water cooler, location and quantity.
We can also provide annual service agreements for almost any other make of filtered water cooler. So please give us a call on 1800 327 688 for a competitive quotation.
